tanner than ever ):

went to the beach with YSG yesterday
as usual, mabel and i were late
what's new. haha.
took a coach to the beach
settled down at a shade
the others went to kayak while mabel and i lay on the sand
mab wanted to suntan
she wanted to be of the same colour as me, apparently
so she put on tanning oil
while i put on sunblock.
then we went to lie on the sand
the weather was perfect for suntanning
but at the same time, killing
the sun was burning my face
had to keep running into the water to cool down

as i was lying down, kelly, the irritant came
she: you're tanning? you're alr so dark.
me: i'm tanning my back.
she: then how abt the other parts of your body? its exposed to the sun ya'know?
me: so? it don't matter. i put on sunblock alr.
she: let me put on some sand on your body so it won't get tanner

last day of camp
woke up early
washed up and changed

played relay games

i played the water one

then had debrief
had to leave after that
walking to the bus, rene, rachel and i cried

tent was damn damn wet
went to wash up
got changed laa.
was doing ropes for the day
had breakfast
then separated to our places
ropes was scary
and its like, someone damn show off
i can't believe she didn't bother to help
she finished then came down, w/o helping

basically, whole day was rope rope rope

went to shower
the ground was damn muddy
mud got into my slippers
so gross laa.
we left our signature there

then left back to camp
had campfire that night
performances by the other classes were great
when it was our turn, we almost died

people were cheering for us

went to school to assemble
drove to this changi sea sports club
put all our stuff there
got ready for our activity
got our equipments needed
then we went down to the beach
got our kayaks
had some briefing lesson before we could actually kayak
ate lunch first
then went into the water
fairli was my kayaking partner
kayaked so far away from shore laa.
then, we had to form a straight line of boats
it was hard to do it eh
the instructor told me, kelly and lala to exchange places
so scary please.
i fell cause kelly pushed me laa.
but managed to reagin balance
so i had a new kayaking partner
lasttime tuition friends, DEBORAH! (:
we had to kayak back to shore
and our kayak couldn't go straight
our hands ached
so funny eh
kept laughing and all that. haha

some people's boat capsized
then went to shower
no time laa.

have you ever looked at the sky to admire the white and fluffy clouds that float on by?
have you ever felt, at some point in your life, be it happy or sad, that you wanted to be free like those clouds?
well, if i were to be anything in this world, i would want to be a cloud.

why be a cloud when i can be so many other things instead?
to me, clouds are the most insouciant among all things, living or non-living, in this world.
everytime i look up at the sky, i get easily enthralled by them.
observing them, i can sometimes see shapes.
some shapes often mean a picture or a thing.
so far, i have already spotted a teddybear, a battle ship, an angel playing the harp and a horse.
it is pretty hard to actually figure out the different shapes of the clouds if you ask me.
i feel that what you need is lots of imagination

another reason why i want to be a cloud is because they are stress-free
being a human, i think that life is really stressful
i have to worry about school work and relationship problems with both family and friends
but look at the clouds, they just float around, without caring about a thing in this world
no human can ever relate to the life of a cloud
all they do is float
you laugh, they float. you cry, they float. you get angry, they STILL float.

you might be thinking that floating all day is boring
but i think floating beats stress hands down
clouds get to see the world
as for humans, some of them might not be able to get the chance to do so
yes, i know clouds are non-living things
they can't see
but even though, they get to travel, unlike us
what i mean is that we get to travel only during holidays, but other than that, we stay here
unlike the clouds

so i hope if anyone ever feels stressed, look to the sky, admire the clouds, enjoy the moment.
because to me, clouds are my tranquillizers.
