it goes like this:

One day, a man went to a bird shop to buy a parrot. The shop owner led him to a really beautiful parrot perched on one of the stands and told the man, "It will repeat everything you say." And so the man bought the parrot and headed home. Three days later, the man came back to the shop with the parrot perched on his shoulder. The man said, "Its been three days and this stupid bird has not repeated anything I've said!" The pet shop owner then said, "Oh, that's because its deaf."

just brings the mood of the whole class down
and then, she'd blame us for not having the right attitude to study
when all that was caused by her.
